To give you an idea of the enormity of the situation, here is a partial sampling of one Chinese vendor’s pearl selection.  I couldn’t fit it all in the picture, and there are probably 20 more suppliers at Tucson with as much or more than what is shown here.  And that’s just pearl strands!
